Team Feat Race Team and Feat UK events

You certainly won't get a nicer day for a Duathalon than Sunday with blue sky & sun shining, windy at times but it always is at Thruxton race circuit . Essentially it was a 5k run, 30k  bike & a 5 k run.

I felt the ok warming up & but knew It was going to be a tough race. Especially after a weeks holiday. The race had over 170 entered. I was keen to a good race & enjoy it. For this reason I stuck to my race plan.  I had a disappointing 1st run . Then had a solid bike & gained lots of ground. Then a good strong run off the bike where I only lost 2 places.  I came 10th overall & 1st in my age group so I was happy just shows that you never give up even if you do have a bad start ! better still I took 3 mins of last years time on the same course. 

This was our 1st race as a team for Team Feat last year when it was just a few members & we won so it was great to go back & try again. I know its low key but its still fun & certainly got our name around last time!!

We did do just that & won the team prize again. It was Tony who did the business & came 3rd overall then myself followed by howard. Great team effort
